Universal High-Power LED Driver Kit & PCB

Universal High-Power LED Driver is a PIC microcontroller based switch-mode LED driver. This driver can boost or reduce the supply voltage to drive wide range of high power LEDs efficiently.

Universal High-Power LED Driver

For the last 4 months, I’ve been working on “practical” side of things, and finally released this.
It’s a “universal” LED driver that supply constant current to high power (1 – 3W) LEDs. With remote controllable dimming and up to 3A of peak output current makes this a “one size fits all” kind of driver for many of your LED lighting projects.

Detailed information is posted at instructables. (http://www.instructables.com/id/Universal-High-Power-LED-Driver-with-3D-printable-/)

USB Power Cord

Here’s a little addition that makes Auroras more desktop friendly. You can use this cord to power Aurora 9×18 mk2, Aurora 18×18, Aurora mini 18 or Aurora 9 bar and other kits from any USB ports. A standard USB plug on one end, and Molex 2 pin connector on the other end. About 24 inch long.

Aurora mini 18

Aurora mini 18 is only 2 inches in diameter, yet controls 18 full-color (RGB) LEDs individually. The technology that enables this little thing is as amazing as the lights it produces.

Please review the instructables before purchase – assembly requires soldering skill. You will also need PIC programmer such as PICKit 3, ICD 2, ICD 3 (PICKit 2 doesn’t work with the PIC used). If you don’t have a programmer, you can purchase the PIC programmed with the latest firmware. (The PIC will be soldered to the PCB)

Thanks to your support, Aurora 9×18 kits are completely sold out.

Night Joule Thief – LED Night Light Kit

Joule Thief circuit is combined with an ambient light sensor – Night Joule Thief is a little night light that keeps going with just one battery for weeks! Two white LEDs light up surprisingly bright.

* This is the original version of Night Joule Thief that uses white LEDs – not to be confused with the new color changing version.

Please view the instructables for technical info and assembly steps.

*** NOTE: The color of the PCB will be green instead of purple shown in some of the pictures. ***
