Heya Aki,
I have been having heaps of fun manufacturing boards (laser printer method) and populating them using reflow, so almost everything is smd now -- and it works so amazingly well, especially with smd LED's!
A friend and I would like to try to make your mind blowing Aurora, and possibly size up to 10mm LED's, and was wondering if we could start with your cad files to save loads and loads of work as you have obviously optimised massively for appearance and space.
I would happily make an instructables on how to do a reflow build of this project as it would greatly simplify the smd soldering side. unfortunately most smd LED's are square and wouldnt give the nice effect you get.

Cheers!

Jasper
(Obviously if we can add +n to the kit request, this would be an easier start 8)

Hello Ale,

Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately the kit is sold out, and I don't have a plan as to when or if I run another batch.
I will let know if that happens though.

Thank you,
Aki
