Laser Cut Enclosure for Color Organ Triple Deluxe II
I made a laser cut acrylic enclosure for Color Organ Triple Deluxe II.
It’s a very simple design, but very functional. Built with laser cut acrylic and screws and nuts only. No filing, glueing or bending.
You can download the design file, and laser cut 3mm acrylic. I used Ponoko, but you should be able to use any services available.
Use my design as is, or customize as you like.
You will also need four 1 inch, #2-56 machine screws and nuts, such as these.

* The design file is formatted according to Ponoko’s specifications. You might have to modify it if you are using a different service.
Instead of using the LEDs in the Color Organ Triple Deluxe II, how can I wire several LEDs on a line for each channel to install into an acrylic box. To simplify my question, use this kit but have the final output at this, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPhm8VTCWpg.
Thanks,
Colton

Yes you can solder wires to connect LEDs off PCB.

Do you have any plan to sell the enclosure with the color organ?

No. Unless I get my own laser cutter…

I went to Ponoko to order an enclosure. What size material should I select when I want to have it built? is the 181.1 x 181.1 too small? What is the right size?
Please Advise

That’s the correct size. They call it “P1″.
Just so that you know there are some extra parts in the panel that are not shown in the picture as well. (for experiments)
